I’m sure just about every busy family has tuna sandwiches for dinner now and then. They’re easy, delicious, and full of protein. This Meal Made Easy starts with a tuna salad sandwich to die for–really!
The Ultimate Tuna Melt is not just any tuna sandwich. With melted gruyere and cheddar on sourdough, it’s almost too good to be legal. Seriously, this is one of the very best sandwiches I have ever had. You can watch me make it here!
Next, I add one of my new favorite salad recipes: Chopped Salad with Oranges and Candied Pecans. The veggies, fruit, and nuts make this salad as colorful and delicious as it is nutritious. I highly recommend dressing this salad with tangy Orange Lemon Vinaigrette.
For a second side, I add an old tried-and-true favorite — my granny’s potato salad recipe. It is super easy to make, yet it truly earns the title World’s Best Potato Salad.
If you’d like to add a homemade dessert, these Sugar Cookies from Scratch are the perfect complement to a tuna salad sandwich meal. The sugar cookie recipe is easy enough for kids to make — I think my kids started helping me make them even before they could talk!
And that’s it, another Meal Made Easy. I hope you’ll let me know how your family likes it!
