What to Cook in February 2022
2022 is flying by. I am still trying to catch my breath from December, and here we are in February already. If you are anything like me, you won’t want to waste a minute thinking about what to cook this month. There’s just too much else to do.
So I thought I’d gather my best February-ish recipes all in one place for myself and you. Of course, these include some wonderful Valentine’s Day dessert and brunch ideas!
February is extra special for me and Scott because we celebrate our wedding anniversary as well as Valentine’s Day.
When I think of what to cook in February, I think chicken and dumplings, sweet potato fries, potato wedges, collard greens and jalapeño skillet cornbread, lobster mac and cheese, and short ribs.
Hot breakfasts come to mind too: Southern style Eggs Benedict with homemade hollandaise sauce, hashbrowns, pumpkin donuts, and frittatas.
