Tennessee Valley Hunting and Fishing Expo

What a trip! I don’t know about you, but it takes my family at least a week to get ready to go on a trip. I even have lists in a folder what to pack for each person for 2 day summer and winter trips, 3 day, and a week trip. Packing the vehicle for 9 people is a trip too! This year we actually had to take 2 vehicles in that my mom was so kind to agree to go and help me watch the kids. The kids had a BLAST! They love expos!

One of my favorite things besides seeing folks I had not seen in a long time was meeting a lady who won one of my books that Rick and Bubba gave away. She was excited about her husband’s desire to hunt this year. (How often do you hear that?) She didn’t know how to cook venison which I was thrilled to discuss with her as you might imagine. I gave her a DVD to go with it. She is going to make her husband so happy and her children even happier. I believe that those who eat from the wild are much healthier folks!!

Another highlight was getting see my friends Rick, Bubba, Speedy, Greg, Adler, and Helmsey from the Rick and Bubba Show. They are incredibly encouraging and I am thankful to know them. Their love of life is contagious.

The man in this picture, Dan Moultrie, is a genius when it comes to business. He so willingly gave me some time and taught me a priceless class in Business 101!!! Seriously, I learned more than I ever would have in a classroom. He is a visionary, inventor, hardworking skilled businessman. I am ever thankful to have him in my life and grateful to call him “friend.”

I had the opportunity to meet Jase Robertson from Duck Commanders as well as to see the backs of all his fans!…for hours on end. It was great entertainment.

Whew! So glad to be home and in my sandbox with my girl where I can really make a difference in someone’s life!!!
