Sneak Peek of Filming for Sporting Chef TV Show

Stacy Harris’ Sneak Peek Day of Filming for Sporting Chef TV Show

After a week of getting the house decent for filming, I had a wonderful day shooting for the new show on the Sportsman’s Channel, The Sporting Chef Television Show. The kids seemed ever so happy the week of filming. I think having a duty to fulfill that mattered and working together as a family toward an end created joy in my little ones and big ones for that matter. Scott Leysath is one of the nicest folks you will ever meet and boy does he know his way around the kitchen.

The show is going to be fast paced and is going to showcase how great fish and game can really be. He has top experts from around the country giving cooking and outdoor tips as well as cooking awesome recipes! I am going to share a few recipes and sustainable tips and I hope you enjoy this quick sneak peek of our day of filming.

Two of my kids took turns catching some of the footage (behind the scenes) and edited this short clip of what’s to come. I can’t wait to see the show. From the folks that I know will be on the show, this can’t help but be a fantastic show! It will air in January. I will keep you posted on dates and times.

You did a great job! Can’t wait to watch the episode. I saw Scott Layseth in the background with his hand over his mouth. Why did he do that! LOL.

Thanks so much! We had such a great time that day. I think that I will be on quite a few episodes. I am not sure which ones though. Scott stood like that a lot. I think that is his producer stance. He is really great at directing and producing; extremely easy to work with and a really nice guy.

Yes, Scott is a doll. I have never met him in person, but I have corresponded with him via email. He lives not too far from us in the Sacramento CA area. I have been following him since he had the first Sporting Chef show. I am so glad to see that he is directing this show. He is a great encourager for those of us that are novice game chefs (as are you, Stacey!). 🙂

When will the show start airing?

    • Stacy Harris says:

Thanks for asking! It will air in January. I am not sure about the days and times, but as it gets closer, I will announce that information.
