Flintlock Sparks Excitement

Scott, my husband, has been working all year for this very moment. After spending a couple of hundred man hours building this flintlock, he finally gets to shoot his masterpiece.

I can attest to the many hours of toil over the gun from my many hours of toil with the vacuum cleaner picking up sawdust, metal filings, and wood chips.

My vacuum repairman asks me if I use my vacuum for industry and my answer is always, “No, I just use it for everyday domestic purposes.”

It amazes me that someone could build a gun that actually shoots.

You never know with hunting!!  This one was creeping through the thicket today at 4:00 p.m. in the 75 degree humid weather.
