Easy Berry Sauce

I like to use frozen berry mix when I am in a hurry or the berries are not in season. Do not add water to the saucepan. Place the berries into the saucepan. Add the sugar. Bring berries to a simmer. Add vanilla and a few more berries to add texture.

Easy Berry Sauce

  1. Bring 2 1/2 cups of berries, 1/4 cup of water and sugar to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for 2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and berries are cooked through.

  3. Serve over chocolate cake or ice cream.
