Figs Stuffed with Mascarpone and Maple Walnuts
These stuffed figs have an amazing flavor. The mascarpone stuffing and crunchy maple walnuts make this dish sing.
- 16 figs
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 4 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey, plus more for drizzling
- 1/4 cup maple walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cross the top half of the figs with a paring knife, dividing the stem base into fourths.
Mix cream cheese, mascarpone, parsley, honey, and 1 ounce of walnuts in a medium bowl until smooth. Stuff about a teaspoon of the mixture into each fig. Place figs on a cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
Prepare maple walnuts. Drizzle with honey and serve warm.
